The video displayed in the Y-Net news piece of an anti-Gov. incident, specifies the basis for the political arrest of Colonel Reserve Eyal Yaffe

Yaffe is already mentioned in my previous post from March 2024, in relation to the break of then protests, against the Judiciary Overhaul of the Israeli Gov.
Following the second round of the Israel Gaza-war, which started on March 18tth/2025, when Israel launched renewed attacks on Hamas in Gaza, in defiance of the Israeli Gov. to the plan B kidnapped release deal, and the will of the majority of Israelis, a growing wave of protests has resumed and flooded the country.
Demonstrations against the Gov's forsaking the still 59 kidnapped, against the Gov's threats to depose the head of the Shin Bet - Ronen Bar, and the Gov's General Attorney - Baharav Miara, along with a boiling fury against the Gov's robbery of public funds for coalition's and sectorial waste and against exempting the ultra orthodox- Haredi from army service, all purged many as well as Yafee into the streets.
The grieving, emotionally and physically exhausted public, has been beyond itself, united against its malicious inept electives, who have been committed to dismantling, systematically, all functioning public services, and ridding the country off its Law-protective Gatekeepers, Sowing only chaos, and madly galloping, the Gov against its people, has plunged Israel into the verge of the abyss .
The arrest was due to an alleged "sexual harassment "assault, which took place during a protest of March 3/25/2025 in Jerusalem, during a skirmish with 5 people, which lasted less than one foot away, for only a few seconds, in full day light and in full sight of many others -
an absolute impossibility .
In this second video the blond policewoman is beating a demonstrator on the ground and Eyal is trying to stop the beating.
David and I were there in person.
At 7 PM we departed the protest area and walked with Eyal back to the train station, after spending most of the day in his proximity.
The police showed no shred of concern to the earlier skirmish, that entire day.
But two days later the police raided Eyal’s house near Afula, arrested him, and conducted a search, finding 1973 arms and bullets from Eyal's hero brother Col Amir Yoffe . It is not uncommon to keep war memorabilia in Israel.

In the meanwhile the “Shadow “ Yoav Eliasi - an extreme right wing ex-rapper, edited the video, to support the fabrication of the political accusation, and the "cajoled policewoman" who was “dismayed" to learn, days later, that, Col Yaffe had allegedly "sexually assaulted" her, although in real-time felt null....
Eyal Yaffe is a war hero, and a leader who founded the ‘Yom Kippur Veterans group, which has become one of the most impactful symbols of the demonstrations, alarming to the inept Gov.
"YOU ARE THE HEAD YOU ARE TO BLAME" is the most powerful popular slogan of the demonstrations in Israel, since the Oct 7th/2023 war, which Eyal's group produced, and posted on Ayalon-TLV and all around the country
What infuriates Netanyahu the most is the full size Styrofoam tanks (two) built by these (70+ YO) members, from which public figures give demonstration speeches, on sand dunes, in front of Bibi's house in Caesarea , in the Balfour- Jerusalem residence , and in Kaplan-TLV . The Styrofoam tanks were built after police confiscated two real 54 ton burnt tanks, brought from the Golan .
When the police went to court to request Yaffes's arrest, Honorable Judge Eitan Cohen rejected and dismissed police claims twice.
The police then went to an extreme right wing judge Bilha Yahalom who permitted Jews to pray on the Temple Mount , violating a 50 years of status quo. and who immediately allowed this despicable political arrest .
The complaint was totally concocted, as the policewoman herself did not lodge a complaint in real-time but was cajoled to do this injustice.
.The wrongly accused Eyal, a former farmer with once a successful Drone consulting company, closed his company to dedicate all his time for over two years for the fight against dictatorial Israel and for Jewish Democratic state.
The politicized case of Eyal Yaffe has become a landmark case, compromising the freedom of protests and demonstrations in Israel. It is legally challenging since the far-right National Security Minister Ben Gvir's draconic policies dictate now the Police's abhorrent practices. like fabricating evidence.
